Lake Norman  is served by the award-winning Iredell-Statesville Schools: Lake Norman Elementary, Brawley Middle School and Lake Norman High School.

In addition, the Iredell-Statesville Schools system is currently building a new elementary school.  Serving grades K-5,

  • All students take part in an annual project designed to develop their grade appropriate research skills while nurturing creativity through the completion of a research-related assignment. Research requirements vary per grade level.

  • Lake Norman High School offers a full-range of rigorous academic programs with an emphasis on Advanced Placement and college preparatory courses, as well as fine arts programs in theater, band and chorus.
  • The school’s Renaissance Program awards students recognition for academic achievement, attendance, and citizenship.
  • Students can participate in a wide away of extra-curricular activities, such as Beta Club, chorus, debate, drama, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), French Club, Key Club, National Honor Society, Science Academy, Spanish Club, Spirit Club, Student Council and Youth Legislature.
  • New state-of-the-art athletic facilities help the athletic teams compete at the highest level. Sports offered include: soccer, golf, tennis, softball, baseball, football, volleyball, cross country, basketball, wrestling and cheerleading.
